[noob_support] - What to do after registering?

You have just registered and you have a blog but you don't really know how to hang around in a forum. Fear not, my little tutorial is here. ( i hope admin will not take it bad )

First edit your profile, go here: http://forum.thembb.com/profile.forum?mode=editprofile make sure you are logged in give as much information as you can on yourself. if you wish to keep a little privacy don't give too much. If you wish to promote your blog don't forget to write your blog link next to "website".

And choose a mood

Then go to the "preferences" tab and make required changes if you wish.

Next the "signature" tab. A signature is those words or images you see below each member's post. it can be a great way to promote your blog. Add up your link there and write a little something or personalise it with an image. choices are vaste.

Then the "avatar" tab is where you can upload an image which will be seen next to your posts. this is important according to me as it helps me distinguish members more accurately. please add an avatar to your profile

Now you can start posting

Yes! i forgot the most important thing, writing the introduction

and then participating a little wherever you can on threads, because it's not magic, it's your participation which will make yourself seen by others

To new members, please read the description of each forum before posting so that threads would not have to be moved.

The introduce yourself forum is where you write something about yourself to let members get to know you better.

The member blogs forum is where you write about your blog, its purpose, aim, etc...

The splog board forum is for any post you wish to promote further.
